I’ve mentioned before that my favorite part of scrapbooking is the paper. I absolutely love decorative scrapbook paper. I was a fan of paper before I knew anything about the art of scrapbooking itself. Hence, I often find myself buying tons of paper patterns before I have any idea at all what I might do with them. If I had my druthers I’d wallpaper my entire house with scrapbook paper - each room would be decorated with one of my favorite manufacturers. So let me give you an idea of what my house might look like!
Here are my Top 5 Favorite Scrapbook Paper Collections:
1. Breakfast Room: Cosmo Cricket Halfway Cafe Collection
Cosmo Cricket is my personal favorite! There is something terribly unique and wonderful about their designs that I am attracted to. We have so many great paper companies and I recommend them all - But if I were going to wallpaper my breakfast room with scrapbooking paper it would definitely be the Halfway Cafe collection from Cosmo Cricket.
Cosmo Halfway Cafe Paper Crafting Kits contain 2 of each cardstock design, one Strip Tease, one Die Cut Sheet, one sheet of Journaling Cards, one Alphabutton Fashions sheet and a Cosmo Inspiration sheet with project ideas.
2. Kitchen: 7-Gypsies Calais Collection
The vibrant options in the patterns of this collection would provide for a never-ending palette of moods in a kitchen. Sometimes I like to exude a party mood, while other times I like my kitchen to feel classy and still others I just want it to feel fun!
3. Bedroom: K and Company Sola Collection
I like the designs that find that nice spot right on the border between soft and hard, safe and dangerous, feminine and masculine. I think the Sola collection from K and Company captures this well for me. Imagine if I were able to use removed/interchangeable wall tiles make of 12×12 Sola for my bedroom! I could change the mood whenever I wanted! Ahhhh - we must always dare to dream.
Three sheets each of 12 different designs. Papers are double-sided.
4. Craft Room: Heidi Grace Designs Cherrywood Lane Assortment
The folks at Heidi Grace Designs have been jumping up my list of favorites lately with collections like the Cherrywood Lane assortment. Now this is just my kinda of girly-girl stuff! I can’t decide if I’d use this for a wallpaper in my craft room or my bedroom - maybe the craft room would be best and I’ll save my K and Company favorite for the bedroom.
